My Uninvited Roommate Sa’ar
“13 cm mass” Me? I just came in here with Covid+. I didn’t ask for a new roommate. Well let’s evict this new little roommate I thought as I laid in the ED alone after the dreaded phone call. I joked with a few nurses about my new little roommate and thought I’d name it. I mean after all it is part of me. But it is not invited to take up space precious space. So let’s name it and evict it.
After sharing the news with a very precious friend she immediately began to share His word and encouragement with me. She has been this for me for years. A true faith filled, Jesus loving, partner praying friend. Her own walk has been a source of encouragement to me. His hands are in all of this. She sends me this post via Instagram. That’s it…my storm. This is my storm. And He will bring me through the storm. Sa’ar is Hebrew for…the STORM.
In the eye of the storm, You remain in control
In the middle of the war, You guard my soul
You alone are the anchor, when my sails are torn
Your love surrounds me in the eye of the storm.
Join us in prayer and follow our journey through the storm.
